Press Release: A Spectacular Summer Music Celebration at The Henrician Theatre

The Henrician Theatre in Evesham was filled with music, energy, and community spirit on Tuesday, 8th July 2025, as students from Blackwell First School, Charford First School, Bredon Hill Academy, and Prince Henry’s High School came together for a truly unforgettable Summer Music Celebration.

The concert featured a wide range of performances from across the schools in the Trust, showcasing the incredible musical talent and enthusiasm of our students. The first half of the evening highlighted performances from pupils at Blackwell, Charford, and Bredon Hill Academy, while the second half shone a spotlight on the older students from Prince Henry’s High School.

A real highlight of the evening was the stunning finale, which brought together all performers – over 100 singers – for a magnificent medley of songs from Disney’s The Lion King. The power and unity of their voices brought the audience to their feet for a well-deserved standing ovation.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff, students, parents, and members of the community who supported this wonderful event. Your enthusiasm and encouragement made the evening truly special.

The atmosphere in The Henrician Theatre was electric, and the event was a shining example of what can be achieved when our schools come together through music. We are already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
