A welcome from our CEO, Dr Anthony Evans
I am very pleased to welcome you to the Worcestershire Hills Trust website. It is a privilege to be the inaugural Chief Executive Officer and I take great pride in sharing our vision and values with you.
Our trust is founded on a fundamental belief: “Growing Stronger Together”.
In our founding four schools, our guiding principle is one of inclusivity and aspiration, where every child and young person has the opportunity to achieve their full potential irrespective of their ability, aptitude and strengths. The Trust’s mission is based upon universal values such as acceptance, courtesy, determination, friendship, kindness, integrity, resilience and understanding, to name a few. With these values in mind, we foster the personal qualities of respect, fairness and equality in our children and young people both for themselves, and for others.
Our aim is to achieve the best possible outcomes for the wellbeing, progress and personal development of children and young people across the Trust. Our mission is to build a shared vision that underpins everything we all do in our schools and communities and support each other in a rapidly changing social, political and financial climate.
The Trust also recognises the importance of developing staff for the future. Through our Teaching School Hub, our mission is to recruit, train and grow our own teachers and support staff across all our schools. Our aim is to continually provide the best professional development, so we can adapt to the needs of our children and young people during their journey through school.
Our values form the foundations for our careful and considered approach to school improvement. Through quality assurance, we ensure we support all our schools in continuing to achieve excellent outcomes for their children and young people. We fully recognise how collaboration has enabled us to continually improve as we “grow stronger together”.
If you would like to know more about Worcestershire Hills Trust, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.
